self-examination can be a beautiful thing.
it causes us to step back, take a look at our lives and potentially re-evaluate some things. we need to be careful, however, that we do not place too heavy an importance on our failures. if you are anything like me {and i think a lot are}, we can tend to look at our shortcomings and start to feel a little inadequate.
instead of focusing too heavily on ourselves, we need to set our sights on God.
you have been perfectly designed, my friend.
yes, i am sure that we all have areas of improvement like time-management, discipline, etc but the important thing is that you find that beautiful balance between striving to be the best you and knowing how perfect the Father already made you.
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
